Summary: On February 26, 2022, PhD Olga Nazarenko was detained in Ivanovo along with oth­er activists. On February 27, Olga held a solo pick­et, but 30 min­utes lat­er she was detained by the police. In total, about 8 pro­to­cols were drawn up for her.
On July 14, the Leninsky District Court issued a fine of 150,000 rubles for vio­lat­ing the rules for orga­niz­ing a pick­et under the arti­cle of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the estab­lished pro­ce­dure for orga­niz­ing or hold­ing a meet­ing, ral­ly, demon­stra­tion, pro­ces­sion or picketing.”

Details: On September 21, the police opened a crim­i­nal case against Olga Nazarenko for “dis­cred­it­ing the army.” Searches were car­ried out in her apart­ment and at her work­place at the Department of Pharmacology of the Ivanovo Medical Academy, where she worked as an assis­tant professor.
On October 25, Olga was sus­pend­ed from teach­ing with­out pay. She was also charged with repeat­ed dis­cred­it­ing, the pre­ven­tive mea­sure was a writ­ten under­tak­ing not to leave the place.

On August 22, 2023, Olga Nazarenko was detained in the court­room after a hear­ing in a crim­i­nal case on dis­cred­it­ing the Russian army (Part 1, Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code) and on repeat­ed vio­la­tion of the “ral­ly” leg­is­la­tion (Article 212.2 of the Criminal Code).
